Funny looking gents
Posted in January on January 20th, 2006East London is fun.
Tonight I successfully eavesdropped on people’s conversations at the Gilbert & George opening at White Cube.
“Michael dahhling…great essay by the way….”
Lots of well to do arty peeps of the well dressed variety as well as some young spunks and other regular kids milling outside in the relatively mild to cold air, drinking free Asahi.
Everyone loves the Gilbert & George…. people were standing around waiting to get autographs.
I snapped them surreptiously using my mobile phone while pretending to text message my friend Miriam who was outside.
Notice how I also managed to sneak in David Walliams who many of the conversations I was overhearing seemed to be about.
“Oh its that guy from ‘Little Britain!’”
One youngish lad was so excited he was just short of high-fiving his friend on the way out.
David looks rather dapper…and British.
Yes, I should have been paying more attention to the giant doctored photo collages on the walls, but I can do that another time. ‘Sonofagod Pictures’ is on till 25th of February.
I’m flying to Sydney tomorrow!!! YAY! Vitamin D fix!
